

He was born March 23, 1954 in Rice Lake, WI and graduated from Barron High School. He earned an Associate's Degree from Wayland Baptist University. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 and retired after 20 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He entered the SAPD in 1996 and was on active duty.
Mark enjoyed kidding around, playing games, and woodworking. He was a jack of all trades and mastered them all. He loved Christmas, his puppy Snickers, the SA Spurs, and Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife Ann (Jasaitis); six children: Jerad, Bryan (Carrie), Nicole (Manny), Brittany, Cathy, and Carmon; eight grandchildren; his mother Lillian (Englund) Bjugstad, brother Greg and sister Dawn. He is preceded in death by his father Norman Bjugstad.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, 6:00-8:30 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Spring Creek United Methodist Church, 28970 Fredericksburg Rd., Fair Oaks Ranch Texas. Interment with Military Honors will be on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:45 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
