He was born on January 27, 1914 in Mobile, Alabama. He was a proud veteran of World War II and the Korean War and retired from the United States Army after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by, his wife of 25 years, Bobbie Tevault Crawford; his wife of 33 years, Florence Irene Van Houten Crawford; and his twin brother Earl Frasier Crawford.
He is survived by his sons, Marshall Francis Crawford, Jr., and his wife Sandra, and Robert Earl Crawford and his wife Donna; grandsons, Christopher and his wife Heather, Jason and his wife Ashley, Kevin and his wife Kristi, Steven and his wife Lisa; great-grandchildren, Claire, Chance, Bauer, and Kyle.
Private Family Interment will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Military Warriors Support Foundation at www.militarywarriors.org.
