Marta Diana Ruiz, born on January 22, 1947 in Laredo, TX was called to be with the Lord on October 27, 2016 at the age of 69. She was a Registered Nurse for several hospitals in San Antonio. She loved sports and was a former cheerleader at Mirando City High School in Mirando, TX. Some of her hobbies were sewing, ceramics and arts and crafts. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicanor and Elvira Inocencio; brother, Oscar Inocencio. She is survived by her children, Ernesto Ruiz Jr. (Christina) and Rebecca Berlanga (Rodger); former husband, Ernesto Ruiz Sr.; grandchildren, Julia Berlanga, Katelyn Prowell, Jemma Grace Ruiz and Keira Shea Ruiz; sister, Lupita Ramon; friend, Mary Estrada and family; also, several nieces, nephews, and friends. The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. The Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at San Fernando Cemetery No.3.
