Martha Lou Ormsby

Martha was born in Dublin, Texas to parents, Reeves and Lula Patton on May 25, 1944. After graduating from Dublin High school, she would go on to meet the love of her life, Larry Gene Ormsby whom she has been married to for over 50 years. Martha loved traveling to see her family and spent as much time as she could with them; she especially enjoyed traveling to Australia where she could spend time with her granddaughter, Briony Ormsby. Martha was also a huge animal lover, Sabrina, her chocolate lab, Goliath, her chow, are just a few that she gave a loving home to.

She is survived by sons Timothy Wayne (Jeanette) and Jonathan Ray (Stacey) Ormsby, granddaughter Briony Ormsby, and son-in-law, Phillip Elizaldi.

Martha was a delight to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Services to celebrate Martha will be held August 30, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy., visitation will begin at 8:30, with a funeral service at 12PM and the committal to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:15PM.
