
She was born October 11, 1923 in Sabinal, TX.
She married J.E. Willingham, Jr. June 27, 1947, 57 years ago. They lived in many places, being in San Antonio the last 14 years.
She graduated from Uvalde High School and Baylor University. She was a music teacher in Uvalde and Houston.
Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved life and enjoyed everything and everyone she came in contact with. She loved being at the ranch at Montel, feeding birds, taking pictures and treasured the times with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and India Davenport.
She is survived by her loving husband, J.E. Willingham, Jr.; son, Jim Willingham and wife, Elaine of Uvalde; daughter, Kay Chandler and husband, Jim of Taichung, Taiwan; grandsons, Jimmie and Gary Willingham of Leander, TX, Kevin and Daniel Chandler of Taichung, Taiwan; sister, India Newton of Uvalde; sister-in-law, Jane Willingham of MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We thank all of her friends and church family for their prayers, support, and concern.
