Martin Ruiz Jr. born on September 28, 1948 in Robstown, Texas went to be with the lord on September 19, 2014 at the age of 65. Mr. Ruiz retired after serving 25 years of service to the San Antonio Independent School District. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Morales Ruiz (father), Maria Ramirez Ruiz (mother), and Carmela Ruiz (sister). He is survived by his children, Martin Ruiz III, (Kat), Maria Elena Ruiz and Carlos Ruiz; 5 grandchildren: Robyn Renae Ruiz, Jennifer Luna, Jaime Luna, Mercedes Valdez and Naomi R. Ruiz; 7 siblings: San Juanita Ruiz, Sylvia Ruiz, Maria de Rosario Ruiz, Sandra Gonzales (Michael), Rodney Ruiz, and Luis Ruiz (Brenda), and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a Rosary at 7:00PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
