She was born on October 29, 1927, in Ranger, Texas to Wilbur and Etta Mae Watson.
Mary Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur W. and Etta Mae Segars Watson; a brother, Cory Watson; and two sisters, Anita Watson and Florine Danner.
She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Monta Jack Davis, USAF Ret.; children, Terry Davis, Penny Fongers and husband John, Steve Davis and wife Margo; grandchildren, Christian Rohde and wife Natalie, John Davis and wife Nora, Tim Davis; great-grandchildren, Aden and Liam.
