Mary Diane Harriss

Mary Diane Harriss, age 78, passed away on June 13, 2020. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 17, 1941. Mary served her country in the US Navy and went on to serve in US Civil Service as an air traffic controller. She was very involved with church activities including Methodist Women’s Group and Food Pantries. Mary was a generous soul always giving gifts to family and friends. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucy Glasgow; her husband, James Harriss; and her brothers, George and John Glasgow. She is survived by her children, Robin White (Tim Roberts) and Rebecca Carrasco (Antonio Carrasco); her grandchildren, Madison, Rielly and Briana White, Meredith and Antonio III Carrasco and McKenna Roberts; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24th from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 25th at 12:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donation may be given in Mary’s name to American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
