Mary Gail Garison Johnson

Mary Gail was an active member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a smart, talented and lively lady. She loved to dance, sing and entertain. She was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School and Incarnate Word College.

Mary Gail's home was always the hub for the family gatherings she loved so much. She was a sharp Bridge player and, in younger years, enjoyed camping on the river. A wonderful memory the family has is summers spent at South Padre Island. She spent many happy times in her yard and gardens; her pond was a showplace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Johnson, and her devoted love, Kenneth "Ken" Ariail; parents, E. Lee Garison and Clare Garison; infant sister, Clare Lee Garison and son, James Johnson.

Mary Gail is survived by her sons, Gregory Busse and wife Jody and Stephen Johnson and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Triston Busse, Alexa Beall Busse, Rylee Busse, Wesley Johnson, Travis, Johnson and Kate Johnson; siblings, Patty Thompson (Bill), Richard Garison (Martha), Tim Garison (Penny) and Harry Garison (Christine).
