

Mary Faye Larson entered her eternal rest on December 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Mason, Texas, in 1928 to Ralph and Elsie Johnson, Mary lived a life defined by strength, grace, and devotion.
Mary married Col. Gordon A. Larson, a decorated Air Force officer whose service took him across the globe. During his six and a half years as a POW in Vietnam, Mary courageously raised their three children on her own, embodying resilience and unwavering faith. Upon his return, Mary and Gordon shared many adventures together in oil, horse racing, and real estate, building a life full of love and purpose.
She cherished her role as an officer’s wife and took immense pride in raising a military family. Her warmth, kindness, and steadfast spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Col. Gordon A. Larson. She is survived by her loving children: Michael Larson and wife Denise; Robert Larson and Ruby; Pamela Page and son-in-law Richard F. Page Jr.; grandson Richard Page III and wife Jeni; granddaughter Nichole; and great-grandsons Tristan Page and Kaleb Mayfield, wife Alyson and great-great-grandson Brewer Mayfield.
Mary’s legacy of love and perseverance will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
