Mary Louise Orta

With heavy hearts, we announce that Mary Louise Guerrero Orta, 92, passed away in her home in Sacramento, California, on December 23, 2023. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas, on November 13, 1931, to Andres and Romana Guerrero but spent most of her life in San Antonio and Sacramento.

Mary was a beautiful and a truly remarkable woman. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for family were the cornerstones of her life. She loved deeply and believed in the resilience of faith and hope, even in the face of challenges.

Mary was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to a large family and lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures of finding joy in everyday moments in the company of those she treasured.

Mary is preceded in death by Albert, her husband of 68 years.Those who survive Mary include her twelve children: Sylvia Longoria (Henry); Bertha Arriola (Conrad); Blanche Olivarri (Richard); Albert (Sheila✝️); Debra Gibbs (Bill); Daniel (Julie); David (Gloria); Edward; Jacob; Patricia Hernandez (Ed); Steven; Lisa Wolfe (Scott); and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her absence will be felt deeply, but the memories of her blessings will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration.
