Mary Ann Petty, a resident of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away November 4, 2009, in San Antonio, at the age of 80.

She was born October 19, 1929, in San Antonio, to the late Albert and Lorrine Meckel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Col Floyd E. Petty, US Army Ret..

Mary is survived by her children, Gail Williams, Glenn Petty and Joel Petty; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
