Mary Ann Valdez

September 29, 1977- March 31, 2017

Mary Ann Valdez, age 39, of Fort Worth and formerly of San Antonio, died on Friday, March 31, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. Family was very important to her. Mary Ann loved to support her children attending sporting events and tournaments. She was like a mom to all of her children's friends. She loved to exercise, enjoyed running and participated in several 5K's with her daughter Harley. A few that she enjoyed were Color Me Rad, Cowtown, and she even ran a marathon. Mary Ann loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding with her husband Michael. She and Michael collected Harley Davidson Tee-shirts from all over the world. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Spurs fan, attending many of the games. Mary Ann loved and helped everyone and was always happy and outgoing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Officer Michael Anthony Valdez; and her uncle, Margarito Gutierrez. She is survived by her daughters, Marisa Ramos and Harley Ann Valdez; parents, Janie Ramos and Isidro Ramos; brothers, Isidro Ramos, III and Jesse Ramos; aunts, Terry Hernandez, Frances Esteves, Maria Vela; uncles, Jesse Gutierrez and his wife Anita and Mayo Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann and Michael will be in state from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2017and the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porter Loring North.
