Mary Ann Vargas, age 77, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Mary Ann passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Mary Ann was born on February 15, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Rogerio and Ophelia Jimenez Vargas. Mary Ann was a wonderful mother and always there when needed by her three daughters and grandchildren. She always provided support and love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rogerio and Ophelia Vargas; brother, Rocky Vargas; and sister, Elizabeth Vargas. Mary Ann is survived by daughters, Michelle Barron, Melissa Thuesen (Michael), Veronica Yzaguirre Flores (Victor); grandchildren, Michael Collazo, Richard Brough, Lexy Rios; great grandchild, Evan Collazo; sisters, Irene Flores, Roberta Hurley, Doris Alvarado, Linda Morales, Rebecca Jeffrey; brother, Anthony Vargas. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
