She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for 23 + years, was a volunteer for burned troops during the Vietnam War and wrote many letters for the wounded soldiers.
She was an extremely and extraordinarily supportive mother for her children's sports and activities; never missed an event her children were involved in and was always supportive. She was a member of The Legion of Mary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Foster L. Watts; and daughter, Sylvia Bonita Watts. Survivors: daughter, Mary L. Celia Fernandez; sons, Foster L. Watts, Jr., David Eli Watts, Michael Watts, and Wayne Watts; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
