Mr. Epp was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Epp, and his mother, Evelyn Epp.
Survivors include his widow, Donna Jo; two daughters, Christina and Alicia; father, Herbert Epp of Garden City, Kansas; sister, Rebecca Epp-Rice of Midwest City, Oklahoma; brothers, Danny Epp of Lexington, Nebraska, and Andrew Epp of Tempe, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was greatly loved, a loving husband and father, devoted to his family and profession, a confidant to many that know him, and a passionate man who seemed to innately excel in all he did.
Matt maintained a lifelong career with SBC.
