

Matthew was born to Celine Medrano in San Antonio, Texas, where he attended Christian heritage Pre-School, Thousand Oaks Elementary, Bradley Middle School, and MacArthur High School.
Matthew was currently employed at Ramen Tatsu-Ya, and was described by his boss as having a great attitude and someone who took a lot of pride in his work. Prior to moving to Austin in 2012, Matthew worked at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
He was survived by his only son, Xander Aaden Medrano; mother, Celine Medrano; brother, Mauro Michael Medrano; grandparents, Camilo and Esther Medrano; uncles, Anthony Medrano and Chris Medrano; aunt, Laura Barberena; and countless of cousins, great aunts and uncles.
Matthew loved being a father and especially enjoyed taking his son, Xander, on fishing trips and adventures at Lost Creak. They also enjoyed playing video games together as well as doing art projects and science experiments.
Matthew will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him, and he will forever be a bright light in our hearts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00pm, Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
