Good morning papasito. I know this is the first time Ive been here. I dont think I have been ready to re-visit this part of our reality. You have been on everyones mind and visiting lately. You have no idea how wonderful that is! Especially since we always wish for one more minute with you. But I know you are with us. Everyday. I love reading your mommys stories about dreams shes had of you and memories shes kept dear to her heart. And the way she tells them puts us right there with her. Love you so much papasito. There isnt a day you dont cross my mind. So much of what we see and do and say always has a little part of you in it. The best part is hearing your voice in my head when I tell stories of you and conversations weve had. So maybe I dont see you in my dreams, but I know your voice. Dang Matty, I wish I knew, all these months I been trying to get ahold of you... I remember our first phone conversation, on the phone for hours, until 6am. I couldn't get off the phone with you, you wouldn't stop talking, then I got to meet your mom and grandma, your grandma teaching me how to make tamales for christmas all the years ago. You were such a great dad, and an amazing friend. I'm speachless, I literally am crying while writing all of this, I wish I could have seen you sooner, I think the last time we hung out was late June early July 2014, you had me pick you up because your mom didn't want you driving, I have missed you ever since, and now I miss you even more! It's been a whole month since you became our Angel. My heart hurts that I can't hold you anymore. I want to accept this new reality because I feel it will help you rest. But I can't. My love I miss you so very much. Christmas wasn't the same and I don't think it ever will be. I remember when you were little at Christmas time. The way your eyes lit up made my heart so very happy. Please watch over your son as he travels back and forth and during his everyday life. I suspect it will be a long time, but I can't wait till I see you again.

I am terribly saddened by the news of Matthew. He was an outstanding cook for me at coco chocolate lounge. Very passionate and talented cook. My love and prayers go out to his family and his son! Miss you brother!
