Melinda Horlen-Schoenfeld, age 53, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on November 3, 1959 in San Antonio to parents, Catherine (Kitty Lou) Zinsmeister-Horlen and Joel Horlen. Melinda was a graduate of Churchill High School class of 1977. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, and beloved dog, Gus. Melinda is survived by her son, Phillip Schoenfeld (Courtney); grandchildren, Forrest and Sayler Schoenfeld; father, Joel Horlen (Lois); brother, Jeff Horlen (Barbara); step-brother, Alan Schwartz (Angie); step-sister, Joanne Doll (Scott); ex-husband, Chuck Schoenfeld (Tami); and many friends and family members. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
