Micaela G Longoria

She joins in heaven her beloved husband, Guadalupe Longoria, Jr; her parents and all her loving siblings.

She is survived by her son, Carlos G. Longoria; daughters, Rosalinda G. Longoria and Anabel G. Longoria; grandchildren, Carlos Longoria Jr. (Brenda), Gabriel Longoria and Victor Manuel Longoria (Mary G.); great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Alexis Longoria (Gino Ortiz Moreno), Noah Alexander Longoria, Abraham Longoria, Miah M Ysaguirre and Albert A Ysaguirre; sister in law, Paula Garcia; nieces JoAnn Jorgensen, Betty Ann Sutton, Michelle Wilson, Maria De La Luz Hewtty, Hortencia Arredondo, Maria Dolores, Esperanza, Nora Lane, Andrea Tristan, Dora Luz Peralta, Maria de Jesus Rodriguez, Martha Patricia Duran, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Maria Del Rosario Vasquez, Irene Garcia and Maria Antoinetta Garcia; nephews, Ruben Garcia, Placido Garcia, Silverio Garcia, Narciso Aguero, Rafael Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez, Margarito Ramirez Jr, Manuel Ramirez, Ricardo Longoria, George Longoria and Robert Joseph Longoria. She is also survived by numerous great nephews and nieces.

Micaela volunteered her time at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church for 30 years. She was a member of the Cursillo, she served as a Eucharistic Minister and helped with cleaning the church. With the Guadalupanas she worked all the annual festivals and events. She was part of the group that would bring the Pilgrim Virgin Statue to families homes to aid in responding to the requests for their times of difficulty and would help pray the Rosary with them. She was a member of a group that prayed the Rosary weekly with different families upon request. She was part of the ministry of blessing families homes.

A small visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (2525 Palo Alto Road, 78211) from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Following the visitation, the services will continue at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1918 Palo Alto Road, 78211) from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. On Monday, March 3, 2025 a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 am.
