Mildred E. "Millie" Wrightsman

Sunday, May 26, 2013 at age 83.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Thompson, San Antonio;

granddaughter Chrissy Diaz, San Antonio; granddaughter Charlene Wolfe,

Houston; grandson Bradley Wrightsman, Houston; and multiple

great-grandchildren.

Millie worked as a Civil Servant for twenty years, starting in

Germany, and ending at Randolph AFB in 1990. After retirement, she

served as a nanny for a local family for fifteen years. Millie became

a member of their family, and remained close until her passing. In her

later years, Millie took great pleasure in making blankets for babies

and children in need, often donating them to orphanages and children's

charities.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Louis Wrightsman, in

1990; and her son James Lawrence Wrightsman, in 2005.

A Service of Remembrance will be Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:30AM at Cornerstone Church. A brief committal service will follow at 2:30PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, where Millie will be laid to rest.
