Minnie Kathryn Elizabeth Bowman, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the age of 95.She was born December 22, 1909 in San Antonio to E. Frank and Rose Turner. Kay was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School 1926 where she was an outstanding tennis player and won many awards. Kay's travels took her to the Far East, Europe, and many U.S. locations. She loved sports and excelled at golf and bowling. Kay loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. George H. Bowman; brother, G.P. Pete Turner; son, Frank T. Bubba Bowman. She is survived by her daughter, Edith Rose Bender of El Paso, Texas; and her son, Glenn Haydn Bowman of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and 2 great- great- great grandchildren. We will miss her.
