She was born June 25, 1921 in Austin, Texas to Fred and Nettie Wisian. Minnie always showed lots of enthusiasm with a great sense of humor. People loved to be around her because she made them laugh.
She loved the outdoors, especially bird watching and gardening. The love of gardening led to her being a wonderful cook. Minnie was also an avid reader of all styles. She spent 31 years in Corpus Christi where she was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church before she moved to San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Burd, and son, Clifton Burd, Jr.
She is survived by her sisters, Elna Koerner of New Braunfels and Audrey Stone of San Antonio; brothers, Robert Wisian of Austin and Larry Wisian of San Antonio; three grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
