Nancy was born December 26, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas to Joseph Dunn Langley and Doris Adell Langley. She was a lifelong resident of Texas, 6th generation.
Nancy graduated from Highlands High School in 1965 where she was a Brigadier and member of the National Honor Society. She received a scholarship to Southwest Texas State College in San Marcos.
She married Charles F. Jordan, Jr, "her Buddy", February 20, 1982. Anyone who knew Nancy, knew that Buddy was more than just her soul mate - he was her whole world. Together they enjoyed a life full of faith, love, family, friends, animals, and adventure.
For over 40 years, Nancy and Buddy raised exotics, propagated endangered species, and shared their love and knowledge of over 165 different species of animals. Nancy bottle fed and hand raised many animals and was known to stay up all night in a barn or pen waiting for a "baby" to be born.
Nancy loved to hunt white tail deer on their ranch in Eagle Pass. She was quite competitive and that spirit won her many awards.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dunn Langley and Doris Adell Deussen; her sister, Jo Ann Courtney; and her stepdaughter, Gigi Jordan Kammer.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Charles F. Jordan, Jr. "Buddy"; stepdaughter, JoBeth Jordan; Jerry Kammer. She was "Granny Nanny" to Andi and her son Kammar. Nancy is also survived by her niece, Lauralee Courtney Langley and nephew, Christopher Courtney. She was a proud Great Aunt to KarieAnn, Macie, Mattie, Colton, Dylan, Brendan, and Berlyn as well as Great, Great Aunt to "Junie". She is also survived by her "sister", Cousin Patty Heitkamp.
She leaves behind many friends and her special doggie, Tito.
Nancy was strong in so many ways and did not let anything slow her down. She will be remembered for her strength and courage, her laughter, her sense of humor, and her helpful and encouraging nature. She will be missed greatly and forever loved.
