

Natividad “Nati” Arvisu Cruz passed away on May 28. 2025. Born December 25, 1934, in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the daughter of Dr. Carlos Arvisu and Benita Miraflor and sister to Peregrina Morales, Dolly Arvisu, Charlie Arvisu (deceased), Crispin Arvisu (deceased), and Melchor Arvisu (deceased).
She married Raymundo Castro Cruz (deceased) at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, and together they built a loving family. She was a devoted mother to Genevieve Clare Cruz (deceased), Edna Arvisu Cruz-Moseley, Ray Arvisu and Roseanne Cruz, Joseph Arvisu Cruz, Dr. (Prof) Leonard Arvisu Cruz and Detlef Thomas, Col Andrew Arvisu and Maria Victoria Cruz, Lt Col (ret.) Bernard Arvisu and Sharon Cruz. Her love extended to her nine grandchildren: Anthony and Christy, Nicholas and Bianca, MaryAnn and Bryan, Electronic Technician First Class Nicholas and Jessica Cruz, Megan, Manny Ray, MacKenna, Raeann, and 1LT Brandon Cruz.
Nati dedicated over 20 years of service as a Medical Technologist at Smith Kline Beecham, demonstrating excellence, compassion, and commitment in her field. She volunteered for over 20 years at Wilford Hall Medical Center demonstrating kindness and deep compassion for the patients.
Nati lived a life full of love and generosity, always putting others before herself. Her unwavering quiet strength left a lasting imprint on everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and compassion will continue in the hearts of all who knew her.
A viewing and rosary will be held at Angel Trevino Funeral Home on June 5, 2025, starting at 5 p.m. with Rosary starting at 6 p.m. A memorial mass will take place at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church with internment following at San Fernando Cemetery II on June 6, 2025, at 10 a.m.
