

He had a passion for photography and enjoyed traveling to numerous countries throughout the world. Nelson was an outdoorsman, finding pleasure in hunting, sailing, tennis and hiking.
His desire was to share his love of the Rocky Mountains with his children and grandchildren and to spend time with them while experiencing the wonders and beauty of nature.
Nelson will always be remembered for his quick wit and unique sense of humor. He was a man of his word with a heart of gold and enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.
Nelson was a loyal friend and advisor to many employees, acquaintances and family members and could always be counted on in a time of need.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie G. Miller and his brother, Herman Rumsey. Nelson is survived by his daughters: Nelda M. Galloway; Diana M. Geis and husband, George of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: Sarah Marguerite Galloway of Ft. Collins, CO; Austin M. Galloway of Camp Lejeune, NC; Sarah Mallory Geis of San Antonio, TX; sisters-in-law: Florence Ann Helm of La Porte, TX and Jean Rumsey of San Antonio, TX; nieces: Brooke Allison, Anne Hardinge, Wendy Kilcollin, Denise Robinson; nephew, Stephen Helm; devoted friend and companion, Lois Jones, and loving caregiver, Art and wife, Terry Moreno.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to his devoted physicians and their staff for their professional and loving care of our father and for their willingness to honor his wishes.
Visitation will be held before the service on Thursday, December 29th from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.
