Nettie was a devoted wife of 44 years to Joe B. Day; loving Mother to Brant and Dwayne; adoring Mother-in-Law to Julie and Amy; doting MeMom to her grandchildren, Kasey, Kolton, Karagan, Mallorie, Presley, and Alyssa; Baby Sister to Loyce and Burkett Riggs; Richard and Jackie Isenhour, and Mary Ellen Cannedy; caring Aunt to her nieces and nephews; trusted friends to many; and faithful child of God.
Nettie began her teaching career at St. Mark's Episcopal School in San Antonio. She was one of the first teachers at Bracken Christian School in Bulverde, and spent the past 11 years home schooling her grandchildren.
MeMom, thank you for your love and all you taught us. We love and miss you and will await the day we are reunited with you in glory.
