Nicole Ren Hoopes was born in Ogden, Utah on July 3, 1987. She was born into a loving family and with her big blue eyes, she brought much joy to her father, Troy Hoopes, her mother, Margaret Wooton Hoopes and older brother, Nathan.
Being in an Air Force family, she enjoyed living in Germany and her favorite, Turkey. During her stay in Turkey, she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized in the Mediterranean Sea. She learned to speak a little of the Turkish language at the young age of 5. Upon returning to the States, the family moved to San Antonio where Nikki spent her remaining years.
She had dreams of becoming a veterinarian and pursuing her love of all animals. If she would have had a chance, she would have had a houseful; as it was, she almost did with 3 dogs, 3 parrots and only recently she had rescued a brand new puppy. However, it was not to be, as it was her time to return to her Heavenly Father to be with those who went before. Her family is hoping that she is at the Rainbow Bridge to welcome her precious animals when it is their time to join her. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her: her Dad, her Mom and her brother, as well as many relatives and friends scattered throughout the world.
The family will receive friends 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
