Nora De La Cruz

Nora De La Cruz went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2020 at the age of 45. She was born on March 1, 1975 in Carrizo Springs, TX to Arturo and Julia De La Cruz. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Tomas and Maria Luisa De La Cruz; maternal grandparents: Manuel and Enriqueta Palacios.

She is survived by her loving parents: Arturo and Julia De La Cruz; brothers: Orlando De La Cruz (Belinda), Aaron De La Cruz (Amanda); nieces and nephews: Lucian, Delilah, Ryan, Jaycob, Scarlet; numerous aunts, uncles; numerous other loving family members and friends.

After her high school graduation in Corpus Christi, Texas she attended a Bible institute in Pennsylvania. She attended Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas where she obtained her Masters Degree as a Speech Language Pathologist. She worked for 15 years as a Speech Language Teacher for the Corpus Christi ISD.

Nora received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young and tender age. As a young woman she devoted her life in His service. Her friends and loved ones admired her quiet spirit and tender heart. She loved life in her own unique, special way. Her love for God, family, and lending a helping hand to others in their time of need brought her fulfillment. Nora will always remain alive in our hearts. Her beautiful spirit and smile will be be greatly missed by everyone who loved her dearly. She adored her nieces and nephews dearly. Nora was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed. As a lover of the word of God she had many favorite verses but one dear to her heart was Lamentations 3:24, “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him”. Amen
