Nora Mae Wood Haight, a long time resident of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2011 at the age of 80. Nora was born June 27, 1931 in Bethany, OK to Viola Nance and Clem Alexander Wood. Nora never met a stranger, and if she did it wasn’t for long. It would be hard to count the number of lives she touched and those she helped monetarily or with her words of wisdom. You knew if she approved, she would give you “that look” with those blue eyes that held the answer. Nora will surely be missed and was loved by many. “God bless you Mother and dear friend”. Nora is survived by daughter, Joan Edith Nussbaum and husband, Tom and their children, Robert and Jennifer; daughter, Georgia Lee Evans and husband, Richard; daughter, Scottie Sue True and husband, John; son, Jon Alan Haight and wife, Tammy and their children, Ashley and Joseph; and her dog “BABE”.
