Nora Schmidt Pease, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012.
Nora worked at the Monroe Calculator Company and Lackland Air Force Base before having children. She was a loving and active mother, holding many leadership roles in PTA, Band Parents and church organizations.
She was a member of Laurel Heights United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. Nora and her husband traveled extensively in their Airstream Trailer and enjoyed many wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Pease; her son, Kenneth Ray Pease; sisters Lena Mae, Mathilda and Emma, and brothers Fred and Frank.
Nora is survived by her daughter, Debra K. Pease and her husband, Steve Broom; grandsons, Michael DeNicola and Thomas DeNicola.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
