

Norman was born in Harlem, Georgia on August 28, 1940 and had just had his 80th birthday.
Norman is survived by his loving wife, Donna of Boerne, Texas, children, Tina Rex and husband, Stephen, Kingman, Arizona, Beverly Hatley and husband, JimBob Hatley of Fredericksburg, TX, Nancy Lackey and husband, Charles of San Antonio, Texas, Allen Duennenberg and wife, Kellie of Boerne, Texas and Clinton Duennenberg and wife, Kelly of Kerrville, Texas. He had 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, James M. Funderburg of Mineral Wells, Texas.
Norman was the oldest child of Rosa Mae Inglett and James M. Funderburg, siblings, Dolores Needham and husband, Roger Needham of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, William Thomas Funderburg and wife Patricia of Seguin, Texas and Darlene Denson and husband David of Mineral Wells, Texas. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Rosa Mae Funderburg and various Aunts and Uncles whom he loved very much.
Norman was greatly loved by all of his family and we will miss him dearly.
Norman worked for 45 years in the trucking industry with ABC Trucking, Rollins Truck Leasing and finally with Penske Truck leasing before retiring in 2009 to stay home and work in his yard and garden, which was his pleasure in retirement. He would visit with neighbors and strangers alike while working in the yard and garden as they stopped to talk and admire his garden. He also enjoyed a few trips to the casino in Louisiana and Mississippi.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the various doctors, nurses and staff, along with Alamo Hospice, for their tireless commitment and care in helping Norman.
