Ofelia Guerrero

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Guerrero, Sr. Ofelia is survived by her son and daughters: Al (Kristie) Guerrero, Letee Guerrero (Sean Boyle), Liz Guerrero, Marie Anjanette Guerrero (Stephen McNamara), Amy (Ramiro) Castro; Grandchildren: Donaven Medina, Austin Guerrero, Darienne Mata, Katy Suarez, Jeremy Castro, Devin Castro, Kathryn Castro, Alden Guerrero, and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her Castillo brothers and sisters and numerous extended family members. Ofelia will be missed by all, including the beloved dog Hannah, who brought comfort and companionship during her final days.

Ofelia’s absence will be felt deeply in her community of St. Mary Magdalen Church, where she contributed so much of her time, energy, and passion. She was best known for playing the tambourine and cabasa in the Coro Mexicano. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society, Prayer Group, and many others. Ofelia was always ready to extend a helping hand without hesitation. She also loved to cook and bake, but her specialty was her spicy chile!

Rest in peace, dear Ofy. Your spirit will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to live each day with purpose, love, and generosity.
