Olaya Rebecca Montalvo passed away at home on January 9, 2022 at the age of 91. Rebecca was born February 27, 1930 to Jesus and Atanacia Escobedo in San Antonio. Rebecca was a proud member of Alamo Heights Chapter #734 of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Montalvo, her sons, Patrick Montalvo, Sr., and Frank Montalvo, Jr.; her parents, and her siblings, Margaret Escobedo, Antonia Campos, and Jessie "Chuy" Escobedo. Rebecca is survived by her daughters, Rita Pruitt and her husband Ken, daughter, Becky Garza, and Son, Edward Montalvo and his wife Teresa; and brother Elias "Leo" Escobedo, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm Monday, January 17, 2022 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
