Pam was born in Van Zandt County, Texas to Ennis and Dolora Preston, and grew up in Texas, Illinois, Germany, and Japan following her father around for his U.S. Army postings. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University, and marrying William L. Cogley, a U.S. Air Force officer, Pam worked as a teacher and homemaker while raising her three children.
Pam is survived by her children, Catherine Cogley, Christin Cogley, and Jeffrey Cogley, her daughter-in-law, Cindy Cogley, and her grandchildren, Aiden Cogley and Kameron Cogley. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Preston, sisters-in-law, Judy Preston, Tanya Preston, Debbie Preston, and Darlene Cogley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Pamela will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
