She was born June 15, 1921 in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Leonard and Beulah Benefield Gunn.
She married Leslie J. Campbell, who became a Brigadier General in the United States Air Force and dedicated herself to her husband's career.
A longtime resident of San Antonio, Patty was a graduate of USC. She was actively involved in many community charitable programs and was an art and painting instructor.
Her fun loving and witty personality will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her sister, Marjorie Stoskopf of Santa Monica, CA; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie J. Campbell; and her brothers, Charles, Maurice, Richard and Robert Gunn.
