Patti Milward Young was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, August the 9th, 1952, and was ushered by Holy Angels into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 19, 2024. She was a loyal and loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and precious friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Owen Young; her 3 Children, Lesli Young Solis, Kendal Young Hagee, and Brandon Clint Young; and 10 beloved grandchildren.
Patti moved to San Antonio as a young girl, the only daughter in a family of 7 children. Her parents Byron and Martina Milward raised the family in Medina County, Texas near the town of Lytle on Milward Farms. She and her husband Larry moved to the family farm shortly after being married July 1st 1974, and raised their 3 children on 22 acres where she maintained residence for the rest of her days.
Patti’s favorite memories were centered around her family gatherings. Being together during the holidays of Christmas and Thanksgiving are things she held very dear. When one of her children or grandchildren would tell her, “I love you.” Her automatic response was “Love you more.”, and she meant this phrase with every word. She always loved more. More than she knew how to express in words. More than others could have imagined. More than anyone deserved.
She fulfilled the command Christ gave, John 15:12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
If she were able to share with friends and family today how she felt about you and what you meant to her, she would simply say, “Love you more!” and mean it with all of her heart.
