Pedro Gutierrez Sr.

Pedro was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 55 years of love and partnership with his wife, Lucy H. Gutierrez, building a life centered on faith, hard work, and family. A skilled welder by trade, Pedro also took pride in his carpentry and mechanic work, talents he used not only to provide for his loved ones but also to help friends and neighbors.

He found his greatest joy outdoors, tending to his land, surrounded by nature and the people he loved. He had a deep-rooted passion for the traditions he grew up with, including raising and fighting roosters — a pastime that reflected both his heritage and his spirited nature.

Pedro now joins in heaven his cherished parents; Olivia and Victor Gutierrez, his beloved son; Victor Gutierrez, and his brothers; Ruben and Robert Gutierrez. Though he has left this earthly life, his legacy continues in the lives of those who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Gutierrez, his sons, Pedro Gutierrez Jr. and Romeo Gutierrez; his granddaughter, Kimber Olivia Gutierrez, and his daughter; Infinity Gutierrez, who were the light of his life; and his brother, Ernest Gutierrez. His memory will live on in their hearts and in the countless lives he touched with his strength, humor, and unwavering love.

A Visitation for Pedro will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM.
