He is preceded in death by his father, Emiterio Rangel; mother, Maria Duron and brother, Gilberto Rangel.
Pedro is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Grace Rangel; daughters: Rosa Linda Hassapis and husband, John; Theresa Ann Garza and husband, Raoul; sons: Ruben Ernesto Rangel and wife, Diana; Raymond Rangel; grandchildren: Ruben Rangel, Jr., Bianca Garza, Michael Garza, Sofia Hassapis, Brandi Crowell, Esteban Rangel and Ashley Rangel; great-grandchildren: Allegra Ramirez, Rileigh, Reagan and Rori; sisters, Josephine Battyany and Irene Rangel; brothers: Rudy Rangel, Arturo Rangel, Juan Rangel, Antonio Rangel, Jesus Rangel, Jerry Rangel and other loving family and friends.
