LIFE is filled with thousands of simple pleasures. Little priceless BLESSINGS that take an ordinary moment and put a halo around it. Philip was a BLESSING to me in so many ways. I will miss you my sweet friend and knowing that you are pain free puts a SMILE on my face but not as beautiful as yours.

Keep smiling, remember GOD loves you and so do I.

Sincerely
Martha Montenegro

I met Phil 16 years ago. We became friends instantly. He loved life in every aspect. His kindness had no end. His heart was as big as anyone can imagine. His sense of humor and laid back manner was like moth to light when you were around him. I am so greatful I was able to hold your hand and tell you how much i love you and how your friendship impacted my life. I know your journey has not ended but is still continueing. In God's grace, you will continue to touch more souls in heaven. Your heart will be in my heart always...

I've had a lot of great memories of Phil over the years I've known him. But one that always stood out for me is when Phil crafted a machete for me in the shape of a pirate cutlass and then made me a custom leather sheathe which he embroidered and stenciled my name. It was one of the most awesome gifts I had ever received. That was how thoughtful and creative Phil was. I will always remember him.

Hawaii was our time, young and full of energy. We kept putting time off, maybe next time.. etc. Our adventure never got momentum, but our memories of adventure still keeps us alive. Nothing has changed, my memories of our adventure still relives with as much emotion. I will miss you. I know you are not alone my friend. I look forward to our adventure in spirit one day.
