Loving husband, brother and friend Phil Shank was welcomed into the loving arms of God on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the age of 60 years.
Phil received his BA at Indiana University and his MA at Baylor University. He was an employee of the US Postal System since 1977 and was the Postmaster of McQueeney, Texas.
He was an active member of San Antonio First Baptist Church and was known for his beautiful voice in the choir.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise Shank; sister, Pam Shank and partner Karen Pritzl; father-in-law, Fred Post; godchildren, Travis Rigby and Amanda Rigby; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
