Professor Claude Owen Gause, dedicated husband, loving father, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 8, 2005. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lucian Gause and Magdalene Frances.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Charlene Gause; children, Adrian Gause; Sarah Klovenski and husband, Randall; Melissa Gause and Philip Gause; grandchildren, Caroline Klovenski and Matthew Gause; cousin, Michael Schade; along with numerous other family members.
Claude was a Professor of Counseling and Guidance at San Antonio College for 37 years.
He was an alumnus of Sam Houston State University and Our Lady of the Lake University where he earned his Bachelors of Music Education B.ME. and Masters of Education M.Ed., respectively, and later an LPC.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and an active family genealogist.
He was active in his parish, St. Vincent de Paul, where he also led the Today's Catholic Campaign.
