Ramona Z. Garcia

Ramona Z. Garcia, born on August 31, 1925 went to be with our Lord on September 19, 2019 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her husband, Baltazar D. Garcia; parents, Pablo and Celia Zepeda; siblings, Raul Zepeda, Baldomero Zepeda, Esther Zepeda Segovia, Guadalupe Zepeda Rodriguez and Maria Zepeda Gonzales. Ramona is survived by her loving children, Baldemar Garcia (Elba Castillo), Jaime Garcia (Jo’Anne), Guadalupe Garcia (Lourdes), Mona Garcia (Rick), Olga Giddens (Carlos, Jr.) and Baltazar Garcia, Jr.; grandchildren, Mark, Joseph, Lawrence, Melissa, Ricky, Christopher, Katy, Valerie and Sally; sister, Amparo Z. Escobedo; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all her close family and friends. The family would also like to express a special thank you to Ramona’s caregivers whom took very good care of her, Rachel, Aracely and Barbara. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio,Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, September 27, 2019 the Mass of the Resurrection will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on 535 New Laredo Highway at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II 746Castroville Road.
