Ranita Ann Bolton Adams

Ranita is survived by her husband, Eric Adams; children, Payton, Samuel, Jackson and Rylie Adams; her parents, Ronnie and Ann Bolton of Leesville, LA; brother, Ron Bolton and wife, Suzanne of Natchitoches, LA; sister, Rachel Partl and husband, Jeff of North Augusta, SC; nieces and nephews: Joshua, Benjamin and Abigail Bolton, Chandler, Ann Marie and Emma Partl; father and mother-in-law, Linda & Frank Phillippe of Rockport, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a large group of supportive, loving friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Reneé Celeste Bolton.

She was born in Leesville, Louisiana on May 5, 1969. She graduated from Pickering High School and received a BBA from Northeast Louisiana University (known now as University of Louisiana at Monroe) majoring in Sales and Marketing in 1991. She was a member of the Lady Indians basketball team for four years and a member of NLU 31 her Senior year.

Ranita had a long and successful career, most recent years specializing in pharmaceutical and diagnostic sales. She spent over 13 years as a sales representative with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals winning ACE awards numerous times plus the ACE Vice Presidents cabinet twice. Over the last 7 years, she was employed by Phadia Diagnostics (now ThermoFisher) as a sales representative in the San Antonio area. Also, winning the companies ACE awards numerous times throughout her tenure.

As successful as she was in her career, she was even more successful as a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Nothing brought her more joy than her family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Bible Church, 2477 North Loop 1604 East. Rev. Robert Emmitt will officiate.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ellen Dennie Beausang, Kimbree Cheshier Camp, Marc Anthony Mareno (Gucci), Chris Hopkins (Hoppy), Dana Morgan-Hovind, Chris Leighton (Brother) and Lori Perkins Tassin.

Another Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Cooper Baptist Church, 853 Cooper Church Road, in Leesville, LA.
