Raquel Salinas Elizondo was called home to be with the Lord, on December 23, 2014 at the age of 89. Raquel is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Fernando Elizondo, her beloved children; Cynthia “Cindy” Rodriguez (Homer), Rosanna Elizondo Mendoza, Carlos Elizondo Jr. (Michelle), Robert Elizondo, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
