Raul C. Delgado (Papo) left this earth and is now in the glorious presence of his Lord and savior Jesus. He fought a good fight – struggling with cancer for 26 years, but he was victorious and won the battle when his body was made whole. He has crossed the veil to Heaven and is now young, strong and healthy. Raul is a devote child of God, he loves the Lord and always shared the love of Jesus with everyone he met. Raul spent most of his career at Pearl Brewery can plant and for the city of San Antonio. He and his wife enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas. Raul is preceded in death by his mother Rosa Amelia Palacios; father David V. Delgado, brothers Roger Delgado, and Raymond Delgado. He is survived by his soulmate, his wife of 55 years, Armandina Delgado, daughter Sylvia Ghazali, granddaughter Amena Ghazali, brothers David C. Delgado and Arturo (Argentina) Delgado, sister Dora (Nay) Diaz, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Please join us in celebrating his life: A visitation will be held on Thursday November 12, 2015 from 5-9 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 pm. Friday November 13, 2015 Sunset Northwest opens at 8 am and all are welcome to depart from the funeral home at 9:30 am in procession to St. Dominic’s Catholic Church for a 10 am mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. After the graveside service, please join us at St. Dominic’s Church Hall for a reception.
