'All our love to Sister Bertha and the Garcia Family. Pastor Garcia's memory will always be in our hearts. 
One of our favorite memories is the times Pastor Garcia would come around shaking hands and smiling and welcoming us to church. He made us feel blessed, special, and good inside. 
Once at a baby shower I overheard him telling someone that he really liked the greenbean casserole he was eating. It was the dish I brought that evening. I felt so good knowing that my pastor was enjoying it. 
Our 35 years there have always been a blessing at Sendero De La Cruz. God Bless you.'

'I was so sad to hear about Brother Garcia. I will always remember his smile and his jaunty walk. He was a man who always had time to talk to you about the Lord or just chat about life. He and Sister Bertha were two of the most people I admired. I remember my father and Brother Garcia could laugh for hours about things. 
Even though I haven't seen him in years. He holds a special place in my heart. Condolences to the whole Garcia family and the Sendero congregation.'

But I know much of him by reputation, and by testimony of his son Roy, my rabbi. I know that Rabbi Roy is the man that he is because his father was the man that he was. 'My mom was saved under preaching of Pastor Garcia on Huisache Street and my sister was saved under the preaching of Pastor Randy and I was saved under the ministry of Pastor Roy. What a rich heritage. I remember in order to get a good seat on a regular service, we would have to go early or we we sit on the balcony and park in the adjacent parking lot.
