Rena Mae was a very sweet lady. She 
was the only first cousin I had kept 
up with since childhood. I always 
enjoyed visiting in her home. She 
called me not too long before she 
passed away. My sympathy goes out 
to Gerald and his family, and I hope 
we can keep in touch.

Although I could be with you only in thought, I feel close to all of you at this time as I hold warm memories and admiration for Rena Mae. She was special to all of us for her successful efforts to keep us in touch with our lovely luncheons. God bless you! Love,

we loved her a lot. we will miss her infectious smile and friendliness. she was a freient to all that knew her.

My heart is full of gratitude for the times we shared with Aunt Rena Mae. She has inspired me, encouraged me, and challenged me. I will forever be grateful for the impact she has had on my life.

Rena Mae will be missed very much by my family. She went out to eat with us often. We enjoyed hearing her talk about her family, her golf game and her love of bridge. My daughters were privileged to have been able to help her go to the doctor and shopping. 
She recently went shopping and when she found out that I was the same size as the clothes she was buying, she bought a lovely blouse for me. 
One of the memorable things about her was the fact that she always looked perfectly dressed. She loved bright colors and wore them well.

You will forever be in our hearts!! We are so thankful for our time spent with you when you came all the way out to AZ on a plane all by yourself to see us! You never did not let anything stop you! What a great time we had!! We've made so many memories with you, Aunt Rena Mae, and even though it is hard letting you go, we understand that God has called you home. WE were so blessed to have Aunt Rena Mae in our lives. We always felt her love, even across the miles. Our hearts are sad as we think of a future without her, but we look forward to seeing her again, when we will never have to say goodbye. We love you, Aunt Rena Mae!

I have the fondest memories of Rena Mae, whom I first remember from many years ago while in attendance at Bethany Christian Church in Corpus Christi, TX. While my parents sang in the choir or otherwise participated in the service, my sister and I would *sit* with Rena Mae, who kept watch over us for the hour. I will remember her always as a dear, loving lady who dressed to a tea, always smelled like roses, and had the most beautiful jewelry. Rena Mae was a cherished friend of my Mother's throughout her life, often meeting her for bridge or for lunch for several years after my Mom's return to San Antonio in 1974. Though they didn't see each other often, they did talk a few times a year to check in and catch up on all that was happening with each other's families. I spoke with Rena Mae shortly after Mother died in 2003, and we had a long, comforting chat about so many aspects of each other's lives. She was a dear, special lady, and brought joy to many who were in her life, I feel certain. Gerald, you may have only dim memories of me since we've not seen each other since my childhood, but just know how touched my sister and I were by her kind and gentle nature, and how appreciative I will always remain to her for her many years of friendship to my Mother. Deepest condolences to you and all your family and friends in your loss. I know you will miss her a great deal.

God has blessed us with the joy of her life of love of the family. It is good to know that she is now at peace with her beloved "Buddy" and in the presence of her Lord.
