Richard Pierce Adams, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Known as Pierce (P.A.) to all of those who knew and loved him, he was born in Houston, Texas on September 18, 1971. His mother, Sherry L. Adams, passed away after a long illness, just five days later on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Pierce is survived by his father, Richard R. Adams, his Stepmother Cheryl Holmes-Adams, sisters Kimberly K. Adams and Marla R. Adams. Pierce grew up in Houston and attended Bendwood Elementary School, Memorial Jr. High and Memorial High School and graduated from Texas Tech University.
Pierce grew up loving life, football, sports in general but (especially Tx. Tech), and his friends! He had more nicknames than theres room to write but just a few to feel the flavor (P.A., Piercy, and Pierce Junction as his Grandfather liked to call him). He LOVED his family and friends fiercely and was the most loyal person you could ever meet. His big kind heart would be there for anyone in need. He was stubborn as all get out, could get a little fired up in a flash, but his only true struggle in life was loving himself the way Jesus and all of us did. He loved acting, he loved animals, he was an entrepreneur, and one of the best salesmen you would ever meet. His career started at Dell Computers in Austin, Texas where his thirst for selling and working with customers became a lifelong quest. Pierce was truly a force to be reckoned with in sales no matter what job he was doing at the time. From farming tulips in Europe, selling healthy meals, selling mattresses, and finally landing at Freedom Solar. Freedom Solar is now giving a monthly award named the "Pierce Adams Award" to an employee that exhibits the following qualities:
*Fierce Competitor
*True Professional
*Communicator
*No Comfort Zone
*Coachable/Trainable
*100% Team
He was an angel on earth that was truly here to help others. We pray that he now knows just how much of an impact he had on everyone in his path.
He was BRAVE, he was KIND, and we will miss the sparkle in his eye and his radiant smile. We will miss you more than you will ever know.
There will be a celebration of life held at The Kirby Ice House ( Gessner Location ) in Houston, Texas on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from Noon - 3:00 pm A private memorial service will be held with immediate family members at a later date and his ashes will be scattered per his request. Pierces father, stepmother and sisters are so grateful for the condolences, prayers, and outpouring of love from all who have reached out.
In lieu of flowers and because of his deep love of animals, please make any memorial contributions in tribute to Pierce at the SPCA of Texas.Click here to see more information on the SPCA of Texas
