Richard R. Devon, Sr., of San Antonio, entered into eternal rest, Monday, October 1, 2001, at the age of 69. Member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. He served in the USAF, San Antonio Police Department for 12 ½ years, graduated from St. Gerard High School and St. Mary's University School of Law with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence. He was a practicing attorney at law in San Antonio. Survived by wife, Marietta L. Devon; son, Richard R. Rick Devon, Jr.; sister, Margaret C. Peggy Richards; grandsons, Michael R. Devon and Patrick J. Devon; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
