Richard Gonzalez

Richard aka Richard Gonzalez went to be with the lord on February 20, 2015 at the age of 58. He worked as a detailer for auto body painting shops for many years until he retired. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served the country for two years.

Richard has a big heart and loved his family dearly. He was a lover of classic rock and enjoyed fishing and watching sports such as football and basketball in his spare time, with wrestling being his favorite. He always looked forward to family gatherings and barbeque events. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed.

He preceded in death by his parents: Ignacio and Aurora C. Gonzalez, brothers: Victor, Larry, Hector, and Robert Gonzalez, nephews: Robert Herrera Jr. and Larry Gonzalez Jr.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diana M. Gonzalez of 38 years, 3 daughters: Amanda Vasquez, Jessica Gonzalez, Elaine Gonzalez; 3 siblings: Ruth Herrera, Fernando Trevino, Ignacio Gonzalez Jr.; 8 grandchildren: Adrian, Layla, Charlie, Joe-Anthony, Felix, Richard Fabian, Joleen, and Sophia; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation will being on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM for a 10:30 AM MASS to be celebrated at St. Josephs South San Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
